Bluetooth Speaker Recommendation

Can someone recommend a Bluetooth speaker that has a power cord (not just a usb cord) for less than $100 that will work with both the Echo & Echo Dot.

Well, no one can recommend any Bluetooth speaker that works with the regular Echo because the Echo doesn't support streaming audio to external devices by Bluetooth...nor via any other means, for that matter.  The Dot will (in theory) work with any speaker that implements Bluetooth version 2.1 or newer.  I don't have any specific recommendations because I don't use any BT speakers, but I'm sure some others here will.

Any BT speakers will work with a Dot here are two that I use.

Through Groupon I paid $99.00.

I keep this unit in the patio.

Amazon put this on special every now and then, I paid $19.99 and highly recommend this unit for its size the sound reproduction and bass is amazing. This small unit easily transferrable and last a good 9 hours on it battery. I carry this unit when we go to the beach.

But if you have good quality Computer amplified speaker system not being used and would like to repurpose it. What I use is my Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound unit which is direct connected to my DOT. If you need BT connectivity any BT receiver connected to amplified system will suffice.
I have 6 units but the one which has been bullet proof is

I would like to give you a suggestion, It would make better since just to purchase Amazon Alexa Tap it is a nice sounding speaker and you have Alexa for $30.00 more.

Tap +2
I have all three Alexa devices, and you sound like someone who needs a Tap for his first Alexa device.  Later, you can get one or both of the other devices if you want.

Just about any modern/current BT speaker will do, but get a Tap instead.
