The Tap just came in so we have all three.
Daddy Echo, Mommy Tap and naturally baby Dot[emoji12]
I am a little surprised how well the tap speaker sounds. I am playing Jazz from Prime and I am impressed.

I am using Tap right now. A really bad storm came through and we lost the power just about 5pm and it probably won't be back up until 9pm. To handle the the complete silence I am able to listen to Amazon Prime Music. My cable modem is on a UPS so I am listening to music and on the Internet all is good.

Has anyone heard anything about when the dot will actually become available? I've heard the end of this month but I've also heard "sometime by the end of the year".

I posted a thread here about my visit to the Seattle one and only, Amazon Store, two employees said it is still in beta (!) and was told likely out before end of the year.
