got lucky, was about to get a ring security hub from ebay for 90 bucks before shipping.  I needed the hub for alexa voice commands to change mode.  got an email ring was having a sale on their security systems.  got the five piece for 119, (reg 199) minus 11 bucks for having ring plus and free shipping.  saved me some money.   Might even be able to sell the pieces I don't need on ebay and really make it cheaper.

Hope it don't sound too much like spam but I had to brag.    I have been watching for a good sale like this for about a month.

I think you'll like the Ring security system very much. In the 3 years that I've had it, I have not had any false  alarms. I had two other security systems in the past that would sometimes give a false alarm or a battery would die and it didn't notify me. The Ring security system is probably the best product Ring makes. No problems or issues with it at all. Ring cameras, doorbells, and lights on the other hand have tons of problems.

Costco.com also sells Ring security products. If you need extra sensors or keypads, Costco has them for less than Amazon's regular prices. Of course, if you can catch a good sale on Amazon, you might get a better price.

One tip I can give you about the Ring security system is to turn off all notifications for the Neighborhood feature on the app. Otherwise you'll get dozens of alerts about stupid things that just shouldn't be posted.
