Light Blue (Almost White) Circling Light at Top
« on: December 31, 2018, 07:03:09 pm »
The light area of my echo plus has a light blue circling light that I can’t find an answer to.  Echo technical support did not know either.  It has done it straight for a week.  Any ideas?

Sounds like a Notification. Say, "Alexa, what are my notifications"

green light is notifications.  blue light could be "do not disturb" is enable.

I have not gotten a green light yet, but the light blue (almost white) is in fact for alerts & notifications.I know this because I get them regularly. I then ask "Alexa, what are my alerts (or notifications)" and Alexa tells me.
If I turn "do not disturb" on my devices, I see a quick purple ring & then nothing. The light does not stay on.
Are you using different devices than I am?
I have an Echo Show, an Echo Spot, one 2nd gen Dot, three 3rd Gen Dots, and a Fire tablet, all of which, if capable, exhibit this behavior.

It could be yellowish. I know it's pretty pale. First time I thought it was white. It's definitely not green. I've also found the colors to be muted enough in some cases that they are distorted by other light or colors in the room.
