DialPad for Echo Show
« on: December 26, 2018, 11:34:34 am »
I have the Echo Show 2nd edition. It's nice to be able to make phone calls, and be able to use the hang-up button on the screen. But, What if I call someplace that has menus that require a keypress? How can this be done?
It would be nice to have a Skill that would put a Keypad on the screen for those times. Does anyone have any ideas?

Don't see any way of doing that within the current framework of Alexa commands. I don't know if they'd be loud enough but have you tried using your phone speaker to transmit the touch tones to the Show during the call?

I just noticed something... There is a Keypad.
I tried it and it works great.
Just one more thing. How do you get back one screen to show the Red Disconnect button?

"Alexa, End Call" seems like a good way...
