I want to setup an echo show for my 96 year old mother who does not have a cell phone. We have an old Galaxy Samsung S4 that is no longer on the Verizon network but works with wifi. I would like to get a cheap Sim Card and some minutes so I can load contacts for her. I bought an Echo Connect, but discovered all her phone calls would be long distance (including local). Not a good solution so am sending it back. Amazon told me I could set the show up with my cell phone, but I also have an echo show, and Amazon does not let you use the same cell phone number with a different account (her amazon account). Is there another way to do it that I am not aware of? I realize she would have my contacts, but that wouldn't be a problem. I have spent hours on this - and am about to send the echo show for her back also. Seems like you ought to beable to use the web app to setup contacts. Any help would be appreciated.
