I’m hearing my keyboard from my phone on my echo dot. Is this normal behavior? Is there a setting or a way to change this?

Yes, that is normal if your phone is connected to the Echo via Bluetooth.
If you don't want that, then either disconnect Bluetooth from the Echo or from your phone.
