Using Alexa to send help in an emergency?

Does anyone have any experience with SafeTrek? https://www.amazon.com/SafeTrek-Inc/dp/B0763H61JS

Are you hurt? Is someone breaking in? Can't reach your phone or press a button in time? SafeTrek lets you send help using just your voice.

I googled, the app does not make sense why you would hold the icon for a long time. What if you are scared to hike a 5 mile trip? You'll be holding it down all the way? What if you are biking and got scared? That happened to me, I turned around. LOL. How do you even hold it all the way while biking? LOL. Not a good concept and pricey too.

I have the local police non-emergency number in my contact list.  this way I can call if unable to get up or whatever...

There's Ask My Buddy https://www.askmybuddy.net/ which allows you to input a number of people to call if you need help. It's clear it's not an emergency service as such but when I tried it, it was quick and thorough - email, text, and phone call went straight through to my sister. I'd warned her!
