New echos can't see existing smart home devices

I had 2 echos that work great with my smart home devices through Smartthings and Harmony. I just added 3 new echos and none of the new ones can control the smart devices. I've "forgot" all smart devices and disabled and re-enabled skills but the new echos still can't find any of my smart devices while the original 2 echos still work fine. I've opened a ticket with Amazon and begged them to escalate it but wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?

if they all are the same network, and you are using the same amazon account then they should work.  what does it say in the settings under the specific device.  is it on or offline.

You're right it should work. All devices are on the same network and all are online. The echo dot and tap I've had longer work great with the smart devices but the new ones can't see them. The new echos work fine otherwise but can't see the smart devices, like there is a database out of sync or they can't access the list of devices that's in my account.
