Echo ‘can’t see’ Amazon playlists
« on: November 27, 2017, 11:30:56 am »
Echo has been running fine for >year. In October, she started saying that she did not ‘see’ specific requested playlists I use frequently. (So she can’t play them.)

‘Lost’ playlists include:
50 Great Songs for a Dinner Party
Wake Up To The Beatles
Feeling Thankful
Cooking with Country

Have rebooted/reset Echo. Have been through customer support. They appear to be stumped.

She’ll play playlists I create, but not ones curated by others. I do have Prime, but not Music Unlimited. None of the playlists I am trying to play are Amazon Music Unlimited.

I’m aware I can personally rebuild each playlist, but I’d much rather solve the issue.

I checked my Playlists including Echo Favorites and all is well.  I even asked Echo to play your favorite playlists and she did.

I’m aware I can personally rebuild each playlist, but I’d much rather solve the issue.

I've encountered what you are going through before and did the following to get it working again, using the Amazon Music software/app on my Windows PC:

1) access your playlists to ensure they're still there
2) rename the playlist (right click) to something else
3) try telling Alexa to play the renamed playlist
4) once tested working, rename it back to the original name
5) do this for each playlist that Alexa is unable to see

These steps worked for me, hope it works for u too.

Alexa stopped seeing a couple of my Amazon playlists. I brought them back by removing them from my Library!
