Has anyone tried this?  The guy seems to give good instructions and I can follow instructions ;)  Just hoping someone else here has tried it.

Tried it. It worked Ok for a couple days, then started failing routinely so I haven't tried it since

Have been using that "skill" since it was first posted here a couple(?) months back. Took me about a half hour to get set-up. Haven't had any problems, been working like a champ. For me, I like it and it was worth setting up. Take a couple more seconds to respond but not an issue for as far as I am concerned.

I too have had it for a month or so without any problems. I use it when Alexa can't find the answer. As already stated it does take a bit longer to respond but not a big deal.

Well, I think I'll give it a try.  I hope I don't find the delay too long.  With my satellite internet service, I already experience a bit of a delay (over what most people do).  Thanks guys.

The delay really isn't that bad.
TIP- Make sure you go SLOWLY, letter by letter or it won't work. If you miss even one part of a step, it won't work. Good luck.

Tip #2.

When you get to the part  where you type in "Hey Google" you don't have ti use "Google". It is a weird word to say so I used "Betty". I just ask "Alexa, ask Betty............."
