Echo dot switch between speakers dynamically

I recently got a Echo Dot, and I have it attached to speakers in my living room, while the dot is in the kitchen. We play music on the echo, and can hear it fine, but when we try to speak to the echo we cannot hear the response because it plays in the other room. The only ways I can find to solve this problem is to either have the music much louder, which I dont want to do or play music over the built in speaker and sacrifice audio quality. I would like it to play music over the Bluetooth speakers, but play responses over the built in speaker. I cannot find a way to do this and would appreciate any help I can get!

Can't be done, so one solution is to buy another Dot; many of us do!
