Title: Specific drop in locations
Post by: Navylady6894 on May 15, 2018, 08:15:01 pm
I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere but how does one ‘drop in’ on a specific echo from a contact? For example we have multiple echos in our home all designated with their own names. My parents would like to just drop in on their granddaughter to say good night but it’s defaulting to the one in the master bedroom. They attempted to say ‘drop in on NAME’s room’ which is the label we have for it but that’s not working.

I think the official word from Amazon is that this isn't possible. You can only drop in to specific devices on your own account (or accounts in your household) and not devices belonging to your contacts.
I don't know how it chooses which one to drop in on for a contact.
