Hi Team
I had bought a echo dot last year from the US and unfortunately were not able to use it in India since the Alexa app was not there in the Indian play store. I tried installing the app last week and was able to connect it to the amazon wifi but then it goes on to say that the language was not configurable ( I chose US English as it said Indian English was not compatible). I went through the forums which suggested that I go to amazon.com website and change the country settings to the US and put in a dummy address and to deregister the device from the app. I did but was unable to change the country settings and the message read that " We could not transfer your Kindle account to Amazon.com at this time.Kindle accounts can only be migrated using the same account. Please sign out and try again using the account registered to" .
I have tried everything else in the book and I know that I am missing something critical. Could someone please help me out.
