Title: Connecting multiple Dots

Hello all!!!  First time poster!!
I have a first gen echo.  I have $125 worth of amazon gift cards to blow.  I have a new T20 movie projector.
I want to get a speaker for the projector, but it cannot be solely bluetooth. 
I know I can link one Dot to the projector via the aux, then link another Dot and my Echo to the plugged in Dot?

I have a projector and an echo and never will I connect them together ever. I would buy a proper home theater speakers for that. Come on now.
