Title: Echo remote cuts out. Can someone please try this.....

**Please try this. Bang bottom of remote against palm and see if remote mic responds after. Mine does not UNTIL I say Alexa directly to ECHO, 2nd remote.
I have call into Amazon support looking into this.
Appreciate your help Tx

No difficulty at all, even after hitting my palm with the remote hard several times.

Echo remote is $30; Echo Dot is $40.

Would not bother with remote. Just get another dot.
