Title: Getting Alexa to remind me to do something
Post by: Danijoh69 on June 17, 2017, 08:26:46 pm
I am new to the Echo Dot & am still trying to figure things out. I asked Alexa to remind me to clean a bathroom fan filter; she came back & said she was unable to set a reminder. Am I doing this wrong? Shouldn't I be able to ask Alexa verbally to set a reminder? Appreciate any advice!

Say Alexa set a reminder to clean the bathroom fan. She will ask you what time.  I just tried it and it worked worked.

Bear in mind that she will speak the reminder twice, in fairly quick succession, and then it's gone. You have to be within earshot of the particular Echo or Dot on which you've set the reminder.

You can also type out your reminder(s) within the Alexa App>Reminders & Alarms>Reminders

Click on the "+ Add Reminder" link
