Title: alexa says nothing at all even during setup

alexa quit working after 1 week  wont setup  says  nothing during reset procedure when ring turns orange and wont accept  wifi password just keeps going back to purple ring

Unplug your Echo, and your Router and any and all Wi-Fi appliances. Now plug in your Router and before you turn on any other equipment turn on Echo and see if it will setup. If it does, then the chances are you are up ip contention.

Now start from the beginning and turn on the most important appliance, then connect in priority of importance until all your system are operational.

Another suggestion is to shift  the Echo to one side or the other.

You are having Wi-Fi connection issues for some reason.  Just call Echo support at 1-877-375-9365 and they will go through steps to get you going.

thanks people will try all of the suggestions when i get home and will repost if things work tomorrow  thanks for the reply
