Looks like you did everything to troubleshoot the problem except for a couple of things.

1. Power off the Echo by disconnecting the power cord. Wait 1 minute and power back up.
2. After powering up, say "Alexa discover devices." When discovery is complete wait a few more minutes and ask Alexa to turn on one of your Hue lights.

Since a few weeks alexa can't control my hue lights anylonger. I have a hue bridge and everything works fine in the hue app. Additionally I can use Alexa on my mobile phone, but I can't control the lights from my echo. That's really kinda weird...

I receive the message: "Can't find the light. To fix this, open the Alexa app and activate the skill again"

I tried uninstalling the Hue App, deleting all bulbs in the Alexa App, replacing my hue bridge further away from the router and re-enabling the Hue Skill.

Does anybody have an idea on this?

Not all devices can be used as triggers for Alexa routines. In fact, very few devices can trigger routines. I've personally tried many different devices and the only ones that truly work to trigger routines are Ring Alarm motion sensors and Echo buttons (but Amazon discontinued them). Note that both of these items are made by Amazon.

The only third party product that I know of that can trigger a routine is the Flic button. It's really expensive.

I have bought some tuya zigbee "Human Motion Sensors" and successfully paired them directly to my Echo 4th Gen. I can see the motion sensors in my devices and they seem to be recognising movement but I can't successfully get any routines to trigger.

I have tried a basic routine - if motion is detected then Alexa says "hello" - but noting is working.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need a separate hub?

Help, I need to justify my spending to my wife!

I have an echo 10 2nd gen.  Lately it doesn't want to show the ring doorbell camera view anymore.  It'll say ok, then nothing or say connecting and then nothing.  There's been no changes to anything at all in terms of my wifi or additional devices.  Sometimes it does/doesn't work thru the alexa app on my phone.  I don't know if it's alexa or the ring, although the ring camera easily shows my yard in the ring app.  I tried re-adding ring skill too.

Echo Technical Support / Guard has never detected fire alarm, glass breakage, or unusual house sounds

I've had Alexa, (Studio and two echos) for over a year now.  In that time, Guard has NEVER once detected my smoke alarm beep, doors closing, foot steps and glass breakage.  I know because I've tested these sounds many times when I've turned guard on to see if it would detect them.  I do know it cycles lights on/off when on but that is it.
I could almost understand if it detected these sounds 90% of the time but, for me, 100% of the time it has not.
Have any of you had Guard (without subscription) detect any of these sounds and alert you?

I think it might be a bug from the last update.   I noticed it yesterday.   Kinda confusing at first wondering if I messed up when creating the event.    I asked alexa what was on the calendar and it said nothing.   At that point the old event disappeared from the screen.   Hopefully it will get fixed.

Have an Echo Show 8 1st Gen and an Echo Show 5 2nd gen. I had a couple of events on my calendar for this past Friday and these events showed up as expected on the day before and again on Friday. However, they are still showing up as of today (Monday) and indicating that they are "Later Today". I have asked Alexa what day it is and the correct date is announced. Why is it still showing these items as later today? Anybody else notice this problem and come up with a solution?
