Amazon Echo Discussion / Re: Look what I got!

I plan to make a few videos about it once I have a chance to check it out.

So far all the videos Iíve seen are from tech news organizations and not from regular users like me. So this will be from a new perspective.

Itís expensive even at the $1000 invitation-only price. I believe the regular price will be $1500 when itís publicly released.

I will be waiting for your review  :-)   Hopefully it is not just another show with a face on wheels.

yes I tried to disable / enable the hue skill. The strange thing about this it: I can't find the philips hue skill in the alexa app "skillstore", but I can enable it via the web ui. Therefore I use this link https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B01MPX3JNE

After I've enabled the hue skill via the web, I receive a message that hue skill was connected successfully and I should switch to my alexa app. If I do that I receive this weird message:

Where do you get the hue skill from?

Can I bump this thread? The explanation is EXACTLY what I was going to ask. I get all the alarms and reminders on my phone (which is great), but we also want those same alerts to appear on my wife's phone. We have tried all kinds of combinations of accounts - even "switch accounts" on the echo device itself but the alarms and such still won't appear on my wife's phone, only mine.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Bought a new show and no problems.  In retrospect a factory reset of the old unit maybe would have worked.

I ended up buying a new echo show however I believe a factory reset of the old show maybe would have worked, I was just so frustrated I didn't try that.

did you try disabling the hue skill in the alexa app then enable it again?

Thanks for your answer jwlv 😊

I tried that aswell, but when I say "Alexa discover devices" she answers, that she can't find any new devices...
I really have no idea how to fix this...
