Title: Good post? Is not working right.
Post by: BeesKnees on June 05, 2015, 09:04:24 pm
I don't care but someone else might.  I posted a new thread about Audible and had a -3 with 0 views.  I notice I have -3 on every post I have made.  Oddly enough the admin has +10 on all of his/her posts.  :P

Again, I don't care, not even a little, but some people will care very much.

The "Good Post?" is a rating system that lets other users "vote" on whether your messages are useful to them. I've never really figured it out completely. I think I'll just disable it altogether.

I know what it is. I have seen a version of it on other boards.  I have never been a fan.  Facebook has created a culture of people who think they should vote on every stupid little thing no matter how insignificant so message board developers have followed suit.

I think it is wise to lose it and especially if it is not working right.  If this board becomes very popular it will end up being a hassle for you.  Running a board is painful enough without extra hassles.
