Title: How to force Alexa to synch Kindle books
Post by: Abilene on September 05, 2019, 02:39:53 pm
Hello.  The Alexa speaker (echo dot) is not longer synching to the last page I read on either my Kindle reader or Fire tablet.  She was doing it fine last week but not this week.  Is there a command I can give her to fix this?

I read this:      Go to Manage Your Content and Devices.
    Select the Settings tab.
Under Device Synchronization (Whispersync Settings), set Whispersync Device Synchronization to ON or OFF.

Thanks.  I had whisper sync set to ON, so I turned it off, shut everything down, including unplugging Alexa and then went in and turned it back on.  Maybe that will fix things.  My tablet and reader were syncing between each other, just not Alexa.  She really is picky at times!
