Title: Bose Soundlink Mini
Post by: Chunt006 on July 01, 2016, 07:57:26 pm
How do you connect the Echo Dot to a Bose Soundlink Mini? I have cleared all other devices from the Bose but the Alexa app doesn't connect when I tap on Pair.

Tell Dot to turn on pairing by saying "pair Bluetooth" it will tell you when it is ready, and then immediately turn on your speaker to put it in pairing mode and it should all pair.  The Dot actually shows you in the app what devices it has been paired to, and next time you can reconnect via clicking on the paired device listed (your speakers) , easily.

This didn't work for me because this was the first time it was setup (I should have mentioned that). I did get it to connect, however, by doing the following:
1. Open Alexa app on my iPad.
2. Turn on Bose and press Bluetooth button and make sure blue light is flashing.
3. Go to settings in Alexa and click on Bluetooth
4. Click pair Bluetooth device
5. You should see Bose Soundlink Mini and click on it
6. To pair next time follow instructions from mike27oct
