All devices and contacts (including ourselves) have been enabled for Drop In and are connected to the same network. I can drop in on one device but when that device tries to drop in on mine, Alexa's voice says I am unavailable.
I've searched high and low for an answer to this. Please help.

make sure "do not disturb" is disable

It is disabled and, actually, now both devices are saying "not available."

try a power cycle on your router and modem. pull power plug for a slow 10 count, plug the modem and wait for it to cycle on then the router.
