I decided to by my elderly mother an Echo Spot. I tried using my Echo spot to call her number on my contacts list to show her how it works, but Alexa had only uploaded an alternate phone number (no longer in service) into my contacts list and not the main contact number. Alexa would not allow me to edit the record, so I went into my iPhone contacts and removed the alternate number, but Alexa never refreshed the contact info. So I decide to switch the auto import option to "off" to remove all of my contacts, then turn it back to "on" to cause a refresh of the entire contacts lists from my iPhone. Alexa deleted all of the contacts except for my ex (go figure). It has now been over 24 hours and I have opened the Alexa app multiple times, but the contacts list has never been refreshed. I see no way to force Alexa to refresh the contacts list.
