Hi all,
Just purchased a used, second-hand 2nd Gen echo but the Alexa app gives me this error code when trying to connect it to my WiFi; 12:1:1:107:22:1.
I've googled it obviously but the most helpful info I can find is to basically contact Amazon customer services but I don't want to do that if I don't have to. Has anyone else come across this? Is it simply a case of getting the previous owner to deregister the device do you think?

It sound like it’s still registered to the previous owner, or else Amazon have it reported as lost or stolen. I’d start with the previous owner.

Thanks!
Yes, have just asked him to deregister it and I'll try again later.
