Title: Echo bluetooth connectivity
Post by: kalanikaau on December 16, 2021, 11:25:27 am
I've created a routine in which an Echo device automatically powers up a stereo system onto which a bluetooth receiver is attached to.
Is there anyway to have Alexa disconnect/reconnect to this receiver automatically within a routine?
As it is now the Echo device always remains connected via bluetooth, I'd like to automatically (without a voice command) disconnect/reconnect within a routine

If an Echo device was paired with a Bluetooth speaker previously, whenever you turn on that Bluetooth speaker, the Echo will connect to it automatically. And when you turn off that Bluetooth speaker, the Echo will disconnect from it automatically.

If you still want to do it from a routine, just Add an action, then choose Custom (at the very top), then type in what you would say as an Alexa command for that action, e.g. Connect Bluetooth.
