Title: Household
Post by: lnw on February 28, 2018, 08:22:40 pm
Just got the echo last week. Bought in US, live in Canada
When I set it up, I created a household and added my wife's email. No real reason for that
I want to add my adult son instead as he has a Canadian Prime account.
Apparently only 2 adults can be in a household. So I then deleted my wife's email and tried to add my son
Refused. Apparently I need to wait 180 days before adding him.
I have no access to any Amazon music, whether through his account or even mine
Perhaps because my Echo was bought in US??
Makes no sense to me. I would like to add some Amazon music to the Echo
HELP please

I have never had this exact experience with the 180 day wait, so not really sure. Perhaps you could try doing a factory reset and going through set-up from scratch on all your devices, if it is not too much trouble. If do do that, would it let you add your son instead this time.
