I know this might be more appropriate to ask in the IFTTT community (which I already did and never received a response), but I thought I would ask it here, too. I set up the IFTTT applet so that if a song is played, add a row in a Google spreadsheet on Google drive with the song info. This works great if the song that is played is from amazon Music. However, I changed the default music service on the alexa app to be spotify instead of amazon music. However, when I play songs from spotify, nothing is added to the row in the spreadsheet. Anyone know how to force alexa to recognize the IFTTT applet to write the song info when spotify is being played?
