Probably not, you will have to pick up the TV remote.  Life can be pretty tough at times.

If you can power on/off the 'internet tv' (no idea what you mean here, laptop? smarttv? tv stick..?) by adding a alexa-compatible switch and turn that on/off, then yes. Otherwise, no, you need the harmony hub (and that is something you won't regret...).

I use a wemo switch to turn my tv on/off though other switches should work.  I have a computer connected to it and also have a wemo switch connected to it to turn it on/off
