Title: Transferring a call to another device
Post by: noscere on November 09, 2019, 06:48:23 pm
Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer a call to another Alexa device?

I have an Amazon echo in my lounge, and an echo dot in my bedroom. I tried to transfer a call from the lounge to the bedroom, but it doesn't seem to work  :'(.

I tried various forms, all along the lines of "Alexa, transfer this call to the bedroom", "Alexa, transfer this call to the bedroom echo dot" and "Alexa, transfer this conversation to the bedroom echo dot", etc. all to no avail  :-\.

Does anyone know if this is even possible (yet) or when such a feature may be implemented, or if it is even on Amazon's development roadmap? It seems such a basic feature that I cannot believe it is not implemented yet :o - but a quick Google search yields only one result, a post on the same subject dating back to January 2018!  :-[

Nope. Echo cannot transfer a phone call to another device.
