Title: Daylight savings time
Post by: Kamakzie on March 12, 2016, 08:56:48 pm
I was wondering if the echo will change automatically? I assume it will. I have to get up tomorrow at 7:15 AM and just wanted to make sure LOL

of course it will change automatically.  If you remember, you did not have to set the time to begin with.

Well, just to be sure, set your alarm for 1:55 am so you can wake up and watch for the Echo to skip 2am and go right to 3am.  Your Echo needs an LCD display like mine does to actually see this happen.  In the daylight, you can sit outside and watch the grass grow as it takes advantage of that extra hour of sunlight.  About as much fun as watching Echo.

at 2:19am (before changing clocks), I asked the echo what time it was.  Alexa said 3:19  :-)  Now if it was Sparky from Babylon 5, it would have griped and complained about me waking him up just to ask the time.
