I just set up my echo and its great. However, I ran into an issue with the alexa app on my iPad. If I log out and log back in the app wants me to go through setup all over again. Anyone else come across this issue?

Just logged off and logged back into the app but could not duplicate your problem.

First of all do not log out -- no need to. I have app on an iPhone , iPad and Kindle.working fine. I just signed ouf the app on iPad. The only way i saw to sign out was to say it was not me signed in. After signing out I signed back in. All I was asked for was my email address and Amazon password, I did so and was back in the app. and had no issues issues.
Suggest you remove the app from your iPad and reinstall it.

The problem resolves itself. Apparently if you log off too soon after setup the profile info has not propagated through Amazon's systems and it doesn't know about the device yet. Tried it the following day and it worked fine.
