Title: Not connecting to wifi
Post by: Solarukt on July 31, 2017, 11:52:42 pm
I am going nuts. I've had the echo for a few months now and with no problems. Now, I can't connect to wifi for shit. I've reset it, I've reset my router, uninstalled app, reinstalled app, smart switch off on phone, but every time I go to connect to the "Amazon XX" network, it'll say "connected" on my phone and then it'll say "Internet may not be available" and I go back to the app and it's still on the "Manually connect to echo" page. My wifi is working, I just had comcast install a new modem today, which I thought may be the issue, but nothing. I had a rep from amazon try to help me, and still nothing.

What is going on? I'm ready to take a hammer to this thing.

It's your smartphone. Turn off the feature that automatically switches to cellular data when WiFi isn't available.
