Title: Buying USA Echo & bringing back to the UK
Post by: greatcapp on August 24, 2017, 09:52:27 am
I know there used to be issues doing this before the Echo was available in the UK.

I am out in the USA next week & was thinking of grabbing one while they're on offer out there. Am I still likely to face issues, or could I just add it to my current UK Amazon account when I get back to the UK? ( I already have 1 Echo unit bought from Amazon UK). Thanks.

Hi!
I've been using my Echo from the USA here in Europe from day one without any problems whatsoever.
You can even change the annoying American voice for an annoying English one if you want  :D
There was an issue with her not knowing the local time in the early days but now everything is customizable so the early teething problems are a thing of the past.
