I want to give my GH away so it needs to be free of anything to do with me. Does unlinking it from my Google account do that or is there something else? I'm asking to be certain and also because, having unlinked it, it's still on my app with the name I gave it.

Press and hold the button on the back of the Google home . You will hear it say you're about to reset the device. Keep holding in the button until you hear a chime.
