Title: Yellow Flashing Notification Ring. Make it Stop!`

Alexa chirped this morning to let me know my package was out for delivery (already knew that) and has a flashing yellow visual alert that I can't get to go away.  Don't know what to say.  I've said stop, and where's my stuff, track my package, thinking that once it told me the info it would stop.  It didn't.  Oh, I'll try dismiss.  That didn't work either.  None of the articles that tell you about it tell you how to make it stop :o  HELP!

I think I have used "Alexa message off".

Message off didn't work.  I said "delete notification" and she wanted to delete all my notifications.  I wasn't sure what other notifications I had so said no.  Then said "read my notifications".  It was only the delivery info and after it read it, the light went off.

ask alexa what the yellow light is for and it will give the different commands including how to stop it.

   A message or notification is waiting for you. Say, "Play my messages" or "What did I miss?"

Or Say Alexa, Give me my notifications... It may require specific command this time. I know that's what mine requires. "Give", "read" or "what are" could be interchangeable...

Yep, I've got it now.  You just need to learn HER language :)

I had this problem and found the only thing that worked was saying "Alexa, turn on Do Not Disturb".
Otherwise, I could not find an answer to turn off the never-ending yellow flashing notification ring or how to get Alexa to disable incoming message visual alerts/notifications.
If anyone solves this one, please let me know!

The folks at Amazon need to add a line in their web page/app that allows you to clear and read notifications as well... for people who want that ability. Not everything can be voice activated without disturbing others rest or sometimes just others hearing what you say when you'd rather they didn't... minor privacy issue in the vicinity of the device.

For the yellow light just say read my notifications or read my messages. The light will go off. I had a yellow ring notification this morning.  After she read my notification the light went off.
