Title: Extra slow dimming of lights using Alexa and TP-Link wall switch
Post by: TomG on March 01, 2020, 12:50:50 pm
I have Dot V3 and TP-Link HS220 wall switches controlling overhead lighting.  I use the Kasa app to program the switch and Alexa to execute verbal commands.  Simple, normal setup.  My TP-Link HS220 wall switch has a feature that if I double tap the wall switch to turn the connected lights off, it executes a very slow dim.  My Question:  Is there an Alexa verbal command that can execute the very slow dim (20-30 seconds) with my existing hardware?  Thanks, Tom

You could probably create a routine  that dims in increments  say dim 5 % pause dim 5%...  that way you could call it whatever you wanted.
