Title: Alexa will not wake up - hissing static

Came home and heard a hiss near where we keep the echo dot.

She would not respond.  Unplugged for a minute - started again.  After a bit heard a little music and she said "Hello".  I asked her a question - no response.  Tried repeatedly.  Nothing.  Rebooted again - now hissing static again.

Was a post that said to unplug for 15 minutes.  DId that - no change.

What now?

This does not sound good since you did what was necessary, although check your wireless connection of other devices to be sure wireless is working OK.   Contact Amazon customer service (anytime) if necessary.  1 (888) 280-4331
