Title: How do I get Alexa to stop trying to use Spotify first?
Post by: justcrash on February 28, 2018, 07:25:45 am
I just signed up for the family plan of music unlimited for the house. Theoritically, I should be able to say something like "Alexa, play The things we say today by the Beatles" and she should play it.

However, if I do this, she will say "I'm sorry, your spotify account... blah blah blah sign up for premium.."

Instead, I have to say "Alexa, play The things we say today by the Beatles on music unlimited."

I don't want her to even consider spotify as an option. How do I stop that?

Settings > Music & Media > Choose Default Music Services

Thank you very much. I just did that in the app, I won't know if it worked until I get off work but it seems reasonable to assume it would.
