Title: Why does my "We're leaving" routine sometimes work and other times not?
Post by: marklyn59 on August 10, 2021, 11:40:32 am
I've set up an I'm leaving routine months ago and most of the time it works. (Turns off lights, turns on security system, etc.).
However, sometimes when I say "We're leaving", Alexa only states she's turning on guard and nothing else. It's as if she has two ways to understand we're leaving, one for the routine I set up and another maybe built in and as a default to only turn on guard? I've re-checked my routines multiple times. I only see the one routine I set up for "We're leaving".  Why is this happening? I'm always saying this when I'm in my living room, near the exit and the only echo device even close is my Echo Studio.

what security system?   Im leaving and guard basically does the same thing.   try creating another routine with a different name and see if it works.
