Title: Message or call my kids (different house)
Post by: jeremy156 on June 05, 2019, 05:43:26 am
I'm trying to understand whether it's possible for me (in one property) to communicate directly with my kids (different house) via the Echo Dot devices they have in their bedrooms.

Is it possible (without joining the "household") for me to send messages (or call) that will be delivered to a specific Echo?

I'm not sure because I've never tried such a thing.

Are they all linked to the same Amazon account or do your kids have their own Amazon accounts ?
If they have a smartphone and their own Amazon account and you are in each other's contact list and you enable to Drop In on each other, that should work I guess.
That's a lot of "if" though :-/
