Title: Problem Setting up Traffic-Commute
Post by: jdwalker4 on September 14, 2017, 12:06:09 am
I've followed the instructions repeatedly to set up traffic and commute and am told to tap the horizontal three lines in upper left, then select Settings > Traffic. The only problem is that when I select "Settings" I do not see "Traffic" anywhere at all. What can I do to see the heading, Traffic in my settings? I'm beginning to wonder if the software has changed. I got my Echo just yesterday.

Thanks,
JW

Go to the Google Play Store and make sure you have the latest Amazon app version.

Well now, I went on over to the Google Play Store to see if I had the latest Alexa app version. I did not so I installed the update and now the traffic option is gone   :o. I had it prior to the update.

Don't worry OP you really didn't miss anything. Google maps has more accurate traffic information if not the only traffic information you will ever need.

I also am disappointed with echo's traffic 'system' anyway. Maybe people biatch to them about its uselessness. LOL.
