Title: Guidance Required

I currently use a 1st Edition Amazon Echo Speaker, i am considering getting the new Echo Spot. The room that these will both be in is 8m x 4m. Is there any real point having both? will they clash with each other or cause issues?

The spot will be on beside cabinet primarily being used as a clock/alarm clock and the other echo will be used to control lights & play music.

Would appreciate peoples thoughts

might be a bit close so there will be times with the wrong one will answer.

You can set a different wake word for both to make sure you get a reaction from the right one.

Perhaps consider replacing your 1st Echo with a Bluetooth speaker?
