Title: Find my phone for two phones
Post by: rfmac on April 09, 2016, 10:12:19 pm
Hi,

I'm new to the forum. I'm trying to set up 2 simple IFTTT recipes. One so Alexa will call my phone and another so Alexa will call my wifes phone.

Is this possible?

In IFTTT, the phone channel seems to only support 1 phone.
If I add my wife to amazon echo, under the household option, and try to set up an IFTTT recipe (under her IFTTT account), the recipe is never recognize by alexa.

any advice?

thanks

wonder if it has to do with having her IFTTT account authorized under her Amazon account... can you authorize her IFTTT account under your amazon account?

I do this using 1 IFTTT account for my phone and 1 for my wife's phone and it works fine.

Thank you! that was, indeed, the problem.

the separate IFTTT accounts had to link to the amazon account of the primary echo user.

Glad you got it figured out.
