Title: Changing from a US to a UK plug
Post by: matt_tee on November 11, 2016, 04:06:05 am
Hi,  has anybody been able to change the plug (hardwire)  from a US to a UK plug (three pin). I don't want to use an adapter on my imported US Alexa.

Amazon supply a 3-pin power adapter for Echo.

I have a UK plug on order with Amazon UK but I have used an adaptor for the last 2 years with my Echo with no issues. If you really wanted too I couldn't see an issue with cutting the US plug off and rewiring it.
