Amazon Echo Discussion / echo with bluetooth
« Last post by bistritapcv on June 16, 2022, 08:33:52 am »
I Bluetooth my echo to a speaker.  This works fine but it seems like it gets only 1 side of a stereo (it is not a stereo system).  I can hear just a little quiet bit of one side, while the other side (usually base and backup music, etc) is very loud.  Any suggestions what to do?

Amazon Echo Discussion / Alexa and Arlo Camera-Motion Detection Message
« Last post by krufruf on June 12, 2022, 05:41:21 pm »
Hi.   I have my Arlo camera connected through the Alexa app and Motion detection is ON.   Whenever motion is detected, my Alexa message let's me know there's been a detection.  Example "Someone is in your Driveway" (driveway being the name of the Arlo camera).   Does anyone know how to CHANGE the motion detection message in the Alexa App?   Ex: Instead of "Someone is in your Driveway" (which is a default I'm assuming?) to something else.

Thanks in advance!

I purchased a no name wi-fi water leak level alarm and connected it to my home network using the TOYA app.  It also connected to my Alexa app and I was able to set up a routine.  It worked so well I bought a second one.  It connected to the TOYA app and works with it but I cannot get it to connect to the Alexa app.  I’ve been trying for days and can’t seem to get it to work.  I even bought a third one to rule out the second one might be defective.  Can it be I can only have one of the same sensors connect to Alexa at the same time?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated…  Thanks
Amazon Echo Discussion / Google Nest Doorbell Announcements
« Last post by on June 05, 2022, 04:07:58 pm »
I have my Google Nest skill enabled and I'm still unable to get Alexa to announce when somebody presses the doorbell button.  According to everything I've read, this should work.  Has anybody had any luck getting Nest Doorbell announcements to work with Alexa?
2 degrees Celsius is a big difference. I'd contact Amazon and return it under warranty.
As far as I know, there are no calibration or adjustments to them.

I have an echo plus, equipped with a temperature sensor, and an Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor, also equipped with a temperature sensor.

Sitting side by side, their temperature readings differ by 2 degrees Celsius.

Is there a way to recalibrate them?

Echo Technical Support / Re: alexa won't stop repeating reminder

I'm having exactly the same issue. I was notified of a delivery yesterday morning and it keeps repeating several times an hour since. I want to keep getting delivery notifications, but only ONCE! Any suggestions. I have a new Echo Show 2nd Gen and am still learning. My other Alexa devices (not "Shows") report the delivery and once I ask what the delivery is, there are no more notices.
To set the volume for a device in a routine, edit your route, Add Action, choose Device Settings, then Volume. After setting the volume action, scroll down to the bottom and choose the From device. Keep in mind that you can only choose one device per routine. So if you want to set the volume of say, 3 devices, you need 3 separate routines.
