Just saw on Amazon (Newegg as well) that the price of the above item has gone from $35 to $28. No hub required. Just ordered another one :) Only takes up one plug in the outlet. Mine has been trouble free for the 33 days I've owned it except when TP-Link servers went down.

This could be a permanent reduction, because about 3 or so weeks ago I bought one from Amazon for a gift and it was also $35. Seems lower price is sticking, so who knows.

Just bought one for $27.95 on Amazon.
Didn't really need it but the price was good.
I'll find a use for it down the road.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Yes, I also got one at this price during an Amz "lightning sale". Amazon jerks around their prices all the time.

You can say that again! I also think they keep track of how much time you spend looking at an item and then increase the price. It's happened too many times to be a co-ink-e-dink.

Ditto!!!! I have experienced that too many times. Even if I use a different PC to recheck. they KNOW and price is still higher (likely because they know my IP, and it is same for whole house; i.e. router).

Back to the $34.99 pricing today.

Mine is in the mailbox. Glad I got it while the price was reduced. Newegg had also lowered the price of theirs. Let's see if they've gone up too...Newegg still has it for $28 and free shipping

I'm starting to get pretty sick of some of the BS a Amazon has been pulling, not just with pricing, but also tax deals with states, prime music, and shipping irregularities. I have no problem moving on to something else like Google, or whoever. As soon as Apple Pay is prevalent across the web I suspect I'll be buying far less junk from Amazon and far more from whatever random retailer has the absolute lowest price - and eventually dumping Amazon Prime. The Echo is king of the mountain today, but there may be a new king in a year or two.

Note to Mod...we could sure use a "like" button around here :)
I get pretty frustrated with Amazon as well! First there's no tax, then there's tax, then there's not and now it seems to have stuck :( And the "I'm going to raise the price since you've shown interest in this item". It's on my to-do list today to cancel Music Unlimited. I just don't use it enough and I'm not at all happy that I'm not eligible for Prime Music because I'm not the primary on our Prime acct :( My daughter and I share a Prime Membership and she's the primary.
