Title: Do I need a seperate Amazon Echo account for my son ?
Post by: AndyB123 on December 02, 2018, 04:04:12 pm
Hi all.
Advice please on basic setup :
My son is disabled and now lives in a separate house with support.  He has good Broadband and Wifi.
I have bought him an Amazon HD8 with Alexa capability (so it says)
I'd like him to be able to call us (home) using Alexa on his HD8, to our echo.
Before I setup his HD8, will I need to create a separate Amazon account in his name, or can I setup his HD8 in my name and take it to his house ?
Just need to get the basics right before starting setup.
I hope the above makes sense ? !  :-\
Oh yes - I'm in the UK
Many thanks

either would work but imo, his own account would be better.  otherwise he and anyone he allows access would also have access to everything on your account.

Many thanks Renegade600
When put like that the correct route is obvious - I will set him up an account of his own
Many thanks for your advice
