Title: how to download Echo App in UK

I have the Amazon Echo  (purchased from the USA)  but as a UK resident how please can I access/download the Alexa app ?

Are you using an IOS device or Android device?

For IOS: Create a NEW iTunes account and set the location to US. Then proceed to the App Store and download Echo App on the new account. (You cannot change the location of an existing iTunes account, it won't work.)

For Android: If you cannot find the Echo App in the Google Play Store, you will have to sideload it. Enable installation from unknown sources in Settings > Security. Then download the Echo app apk file from a reliable source and open the apk file to start installation.
